About Georgie

Where healing meets birth and motherhood becomes sacred

Hi, I'm Georgie Jhet — and this isn't just my work… it's my heartbeat.

This is my calling, my fire, my deep, wild love letter to every mama, partner, baby and family I get to support.

The Root of Everything

From a young age, I carried a fierce knowing that children deserved to be protected, nurtured and seen. That passion for child protection planted the first seeds of this work — long before I knew where it would lead me.

What I've come to understand, through both my own journey and years of study, is that true child protection begins in the womb. It begins with mothers who are held, healed and whole. It begins with breaking the cycles of unmet needs, attachment wounds and relational toxicity before they're passed down to the next generation.

Because a baby's first experience of safety, love and belonging doesn't start at birth — it starts with the emotional landscape of the woman carrying them.

My Journey Through the Fire

Georgie with family

At 23 weeks pregnant, I made the heartbreaking decision to terminate my pregnancy with my firstborn son, Juniper, after receiving devastating news of fetal abnormalities. They stopped his heart and I was induced to birth him. That loss cracked me open in ways I couldn't have imagined. It was my first initiation into the sacred, devastating power of birth.

Juniper changed everything. I left my corporate career behind and trained as a Doula, then as a Childbirth Educator, driven by a deep knowing that every woman deserves to be held through the full spectrum of birth — the joy, the grief, the mess and the magic.

I then birthed my daughter — a planned homebirth that became a hospital transfer after a long labour. I've walked through both the depths of loss and the intensity of bringing life earthside. I know what it's like to surrender your birth plan. I know what it's like to need intervention. And I know what it's like to feel both powerful and powerless in the same breath.

But my deepest teacher came after birth.

Early motherhood brought me to my knees. Without having healed my own childhood wounds — the unmet needs around nurturance, protection and guidance — I found myself drowning. I was trying to mother my daughter from an empty well, navigating complex relationship dynamics I didn't yet have the tools to understand or escape.

That season of my life was devastating. And it became my greatest initiation.

The pain I experienced in those early years — the emotional cost, the relational ruptures, the profound sense of being untethered — could have been prevented if I'd had the healing tools earlier. That knowing became my mission.

"I now dedicate my life to giving women what I didn't have: the opportunity to heal their attachment wounds, mother wounds and unmet childhood needs BEFORE they become mothers — or in that critical first year when everything is still tender and malleable."

The Work I Do Now

What started as birth work has evolved into something far more profound: I help women heal the mother wound so they can break generational cycles and mother from a truly whole place.

Through clinical hypnosis, strategic psychotherapy, transformational coaching and deep somatic healing work, I support women in:

Healing unmet childhood needs around nurturance, protection and guidance
Understanding how attachment wounds create toxicity in adult relationships
Learning to mother themselves before (or while) mothering their babies
Preparing for birth from a nervous system-regulated, emotionally resourced place
Navigating the postpartum year with tools for healing, not just surviving
Creating secure attachment with their babies by first creating it within themselves

Because here's what I know to be true: You cannot pour from an empty cup. You cannot give your baby the secure attachment you never received — unless you heal it first.

This work is prevention. It's breaking cycles. It's deep, sacred, generational healing that protects children by healing their mothers.

What I Bring to This Work

Every credential I've earned, every modality I've studied, serves this deeper mission of helping women heal so they can mother from a place of wholeness:

Training & Credentials

Georgie's journey
  • Certified Doula (Australian Doula College)
  • Childbirth Educator
  • Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner
  • Clinical Hypnosis & Strategic Psychotherapy
  • Transformational Coach
  • Specialist in Mother Wound Healing & Attachment Theory

I weave evidence-based knowledge with the mind-body connection, practical tools for birth and deep healing modalities for the postpartum year and beyond. This isn't just about having a beautiful birth (though that matters). It's about becoming the mother your baby needs by first becoming the mother you needed.

"I believe that if a woman is truly held — emotionally, physically and spiritually — and has healed her own unmet needs, she will birth and mother from a place of deep trust, connection and love."

Who This Work Is For

This work is for you if:

You're pregnant and want to prepare not just for birth, but for motherhood from a healed place
You're in your first year postpartum and finding it harder than you expected
You know you carry mother wounds or attachment issues and want to heal them before (or while) raising your children
You've experienced relationship toxicity and want to break the pattern
You want your baby to have the secure attachment you didn't receive
You're ready to do the deep inner work that changes everything

I hold space for all of it — the birth preparation, the hypnobirthing tools, the postpartum support and the deep healing work that ensures you're not just surviving motherhood, but truly thriving in it.

You Were Made for This

And you don't have to do it alone.

Let me walk with you through this sacred journey — not just as your doula or educator, but as someone who has been in the fire and found her way through. Someone who now holds the light for other women finding their way home to themselves.

I can't wait to share this journey with you xx
