You Don't Need to Name It Yet

For some women, pregnancy, birth, or the first year of motherhood brings up feelings that don't quite make sense.

Emotions that feel bigger than the moment. A sense of being unsteady, unseen, or unexpectedly raw. Questions about identity, worth, or belonging that arrive without warning.

Maybe you're repeating patterns you swore you'd never repeat. Or you have no template for what secure mothering even looks like. Or you're present, doing all the "right" things, but feeling emotionally distant in ways you can't explain.

However it's showing up for you, you're not alone. And you're not broken.

This work offers a gentle, grounded space to explore those experiences — without blame, without needing to "fix" anything, and without rushing the process.

Understanding Mother Wounds

Contemplative mother

Often called mother wound work, this support is not about revisiting the past for its own sake. It's about understanding how early experiences shape the way we care for ourselves now — especially at a time when so much is changing.

Becoming a mother often awakens our deepest mother wounds. You need mothering more than ever, yet you're expected to give it constantly. And however your wounds are showing up — whether you're repeating patterns, feeling emotionally shut down, or navigating motherhood without a clear template — they're all pointing to something that can be gently explored and understood.

This space is for women who want to feel steadier inside themselves as they learn to mother — their baby, and themselves — with more compassion, clarity, and internal safety.

Supportive community

You might resonate with this work if:

  • You feel like you're mothering without a clear template or model
  • You notice yourself repeating patterns from your own childhood
  • You feel emotionally distant or numb despite loving your baby deeply
  • Small moments feel overwhelming in ways that surprise you
  • You're exploring generational patterns and want to understand them better
  • You're seeking a space to process without judgment or pressure

There is no pressure to join. No requirement to have the words. Just an invitation to explore, when and if it feels right.

Why the First 12 Months Matter

This program is only available to mothers in their first 12 months postpartum. This isn't arbitrary — it's based on neuroscience.

During your baby's first year — especially the first 6 months — their nervous system is actively forming attachment patterns. They're learning what "normal" feels like in relationships. What safety feels like. What love looks like.

At the same time, YOUR brain is experiencing profound neuroplasticity as it rewires itself to become a mother. You're more receptive to learning new patterns than you'll ever be again.

This convergence — your brain's openness + your baby's formation — creates a unique window.

After 12 months, attachment patterns become significantly more established. The work is still possible, but it requires more time, more intervention, and more conscious effort to reshape what's already been wired in.

This isn't pressure or manipulation — it's simply what the research shows. The window exists whether we talk about it or not.

If you're in this window now, this is your opportunity. Not because you'll damage your child if you don't — but because change comes more easily when biology is on your side.

Introducing Dandelion Rising: Breaking the Cycle

Three generations of women

An 8-week virtual mother wound healing program for mothers in their first 12 months postpartum

Eligibility: This program is specifically designed for mothers within the first 12 months of their baby's life — ideally within the first 6 months. This timing isn't arbitrary; it's when your baby's nervous system is forming attachment patterns and your brain has heightened neuroplasticity for learning new ways of being.

This isn't therapy. This isn't another parenting course. This is a gentle exploration of the patterns you carry — and an invitation to build new ones during the window when it matters most.

🌱 Next Cohort Starts April 2026

The dandelion grows in broken concrete. It thrives despite being pulled and mowed down. It sends deep roots through impossible conditions. And then it transforms — rising up and radiating golden light across generations.

Just like you.

You might feel uncertain or "less than" because of your experiences. But dandelions aren't fragile flowers — they're resilient beings who become beacons of light.

In this program, you'll send roots deep into your own healing, gently explore generational patterns, and nurture wholeness for yourself and your children.

Imagine 8 Weeks From Now...

Peaceful mother with baby

You might respond to your baby's cries from a place of calm wisdom instead of frozen uncertainty.

You might trust your instincts more deeply, having built new internal resources based on secure patterns.

You might feel more genuinely peaceful and present, with greater capacity for connection.

You might speak to yourself with the same kindness you show your child — because you've begun to become your own loving inner mother.

And you might know — more deeply than before — that you're creating the foundations your child will carry forward.

This isn't guaranteed transformation. It's an invitation to explore what becomes possible when you give yourself space to heal.

Meet Your Guide

Your guide

I'm here because I know this terrain intimately — and because I've spent years learning what I wish I'd known when my daughter was born.

I didn't have a template for secure mothering. My own mother couldn't give me what she never received. When I became a mum, I found myself struggling to truly connect — not because I didn't love deeply, but because I had no idea what emotional attunement felt like.

She's 13 now. And I see how those early patterns have shaped our relationship.

But I've also discovered that the mothers I support as a doula — the ones in those critical first months — are in a window of possibility. Their babies' nervous systems are still forming. New patterns can be learned. Foundations can be built.

So I trained deeply in somatic therapy, attachment healing, and Sacred Pregnancy facilitation. I studied mother wounds and generational patterns with the attention of someone who knows what's at stake.

I created Dandelion Rising to offer the gentle, grounded support I wish I'd had — tools, templates, and a healing container for mothers in that crucial first year.

I'm still on my own healing journey. But I can guide you through territory I've navigated myself — not from books alone, but from living it.

Your baby deserves a mother who's exploring how to heal. And you deserve a guide who knows this path.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I'm already past 12 months postpartum?
This program is specifically designed for the 0-12 month window because that's when your baby's nervous system is actively forming attachment patterns and your brain has heightened neuroplasticity. If you're between 12-18 months, the work can still be beneficial, though patterns are becoming more established. Beyond 18 months, different approaches may be more appropriate. Let's have a conversation about whether this cohort is right for your specific situation.
I'm struggling to find time — how will this work?
The program is designed for postpartum life. Live sessions are 90 minutes weekly (childcare recommended). Hypnosis sessions are 20 minutes you can do while baby naps. Micro-practices fit into your existing routine. You get to choose your level of engagement.
What if I can't make the live sessions?
Every session is recorded and available within hours. The live container offers connection, but the program works even if you attend sessions via recording.
Is this like therapy?
No. Therapy focuses on processing past experiences. This program explores patterns and builds new internal resources. Many participants are in therapy and find this work complements it beautifully.
What if my experiences aren't "that significant"?
If you're drawn to this work, that curiosity is worth honoring. You don't need to have had dramatic experiences to benefit from understanding how patterns shape your mothering. The invitation is for anyone exploring these questions.
Will this work if I'm still in contact with my mother?
Yes. This program focuses on your healing and your mothering, regardless of your current relationships. Some participants find their relationships shift; others establish healthier boundaries. Both paths are valid.
What if I have postnatal depression or anxiety?
This program is designed for the postpartum nervous system and can support healing alongside appropriate mental health care. If you're currently in crisis, please seek immediate professional support. This work complements (not replaces) clinical treatment.
Is this only for first-time mothers?
No. Mother wounds can surface differently with each child. All postpartum mothers within the first 12-18 months of their most recent baby are welcome to explore this work.

The Window Is Real

If your baby is under 12 months old — especially under 6 months — you're in the optimal window for this work.

Not because you'll fail if you don't do it now. But because neuroscience shows that patterns formed in this window shape everything that comes after.

Your baby's nervous system is learning what relationships feel like. Your brain is wide open to new ways of being. This convergence won't happen again.

This isn't pressure — it's just the truth. The window exists whether we acknowledge it or not.

Peaceful mother and child

There is no pressure to join. No requirement to have it all figured out.

But if you're in this window now — if your baby is under 12 months — this is your opportunity to work WITH biology instead of against it.

The invitation is here. The window is now.
