Dandelion Rising: Mother Wound Healing for Postpartum
You're holding your baby, but you're drowning.
Becoming a mother has cracked something open inside you that you weren't prepared for. The rage. The anxiety. The voice in your head that sounds exactly like your mother.
Begin Your Healing JourneyYou're Not Alone
You're a new mother in the fog of those early postpartum months, holding your precious baby while simultaneously feeling like you're falling apart.
The rage that surfaces from nowhere. The anxiety that keeps you checking if your baby is breathing every five minutes. The intrusive thoughts that terrify you. The voice in your head that sounds exactly like your mother, criticising every choice you make.
You find yourself snapping at your partner, freezing when your baby cries or feeling strangely empty when you're "supposed" to be blissfully bonding. You're battling the gap between who you thought you'd be as a mother and who you're actually being.
The triggers you didn't see coming - your baby's neediness makes you want to run, their cries make you freeze or rage, their total dependence feels suffocating rather than precious. You're managing intrusive thoughts, postpartum anxiety and the weight of generational patterns that are suddenly very real and very present.
You know this isn't just "baby blues." Something deeper is surfacing - generational patterns you promised yourself you'd never repeat. And you're terrified you're already failing your baby.
But here's what else you know: You have the capacity to break these cycles right now, in these crucial early months. You don't have to mother from your wounds. You can heal and your baby can be part of that healing.
Imagine instead...
Imagine waking up and feeling calm in your body - not perfect, but grounded. When your baby cries, you don't freeze or rage. You breathe, you respond, you trust yourself.
Imagine looking at your baby with uncomplicated love - not the complex tangle of devotion, resentment and fear you feel now, but genuine presence and joy in these fleeting early months.
Imagine the critical voice in your head softening - no longer your mother's voice telling you you're doing it wrong, but your own compassionate voice reminding you you're doing your best and your best is enough.
Imagine setting boundaries without drowning in guilt - saying no to unwanted visitors, asking your partner for help, protecting your postpartum recovery without shame. Imagine holding your baby knowing you've broken the cycle - that the anxiety, the emotional unavailability, the conditional love patterns stop with you.
This isn't fantasy. This is what happens when you do the deep mother wound healing work in the postpartum period - when your heart is cracked open, when the patterns are surfacing, when transformation is possible.
This is Dandelion Rising
An 8-week online program specifically designed for postpartum mothers ready to break generational trauma patterns and mother from wholeness rather than wounding.
Over the first two weeks, you'll identify your specific mother wound patterns and how they're showing up in your postpartum experience. You'll learn to regulate your nervous system so you can respond to your baby from calm rather than trigger, creating a safe foundation for the deeper healing work ahead.
In weeks three and four, you'll begin to separate your mother's story from your own story. You'll process the grief of what you didn't receive as a daughter and start releasing the "shoulds" and expectations that are suffocating your authentic mothering.
By weeks five and six, you'll be ready to reclaim your voice and power. You'll identify and challenge the limiting beliefs you inherited about motherhood, worthiness and feminine power. You'll learn to set boundaries that protect your postpartum recovery and reconnect with your intuition and trust in your own mothering wisdom.
The final two weeks focus on integration. You'll create new neural pathways for responding to your baby and yourself with compassion. You'll develop sustainable practices for continuing this healing work as your baby grows and step into your identity as the cycle-breaker and the mother you're becoming.

Is This Program Right for You?
This program is for you if...
You're in your first year postpartum (with any child - first baby or fourth) and you recognise patterns from your own childhood showing up in your mothering. Maybe you're experiencing postpartum anxiety, rage or difficulty bonding. You're determined to break generational cycles now, not later, and you're willing to do deep, sometimes uncomfortable inner work. You can commit to 90 minutes weekly for 8 weeks in a focused, adult-only space where you can do this deep healing work.
This program is not for you if...
You're looking for surface-level parenting tips or sleep training advice. You're not willing to examine your relationship with your own mother. You're in active crisis and need immediate therapeutic intervention. Or you're not ready to take responsibility for your own healing journey.
Why now? Why not wait until things settle down?
Because these early postpartum months are the portal. Your nervous system is rewiring. Your identity is reforming. The mother wound patterns are surfacing precisely because this is when they can be healed.
Waiting until your baby is older, until you're "less tired," until things "calm down" means the patterns become more entrenched. Your baby's nervous system is forming in relationship with yours right now. The work you do now shapes not just your mothering, but your child's entire relational blueprint.
And here's the truth: It doesn't get easier later. It gets harder. The patterns become habits. The neural pathways deepen. The opportunity for this specific, potent postpartum healing window closes.
You're cracked open now. You're raw now. You're ready now.

Meet Your Guide: Georgie
I'm a certified doula with 12+ years of experience supporting over 106 births, a clinical hypnotherapist and a mother who has done her own deep mother wound healing work.
I created Dandelion Rising because I watched too many mothers struggle in the postpartum period with wounds they didn't know they were carrying. I saw beautiful, capable women freeze or rage or disconnect from their babies - not because they were bad mothers, but because their own mother wounds were triggered by the intensity of early motherhood.
I've supported hundreds of mothers through birth and postpartum and I've processed over 5,000 placentas as a placenta encapsulation specialist. I know the postpartum body, mind and spirit intimately. This work combines my training in attachment theory, somatic therapy, clinical hypnotherapy and over a decade of holding space for mothers in their most vulnerable moments.
I see you. I've got you. And I'm here to help you rise.
